MARCH SPACE is a design agency dedicated to creating narrative spaces with warmth and rhythm. The founder explains, “MARCH and SPACE are two sides of the same coin. March represents the flourishing of all things, the beginning of life. Space is the vessel that holds this life. The balance between spatial places and natural elements is our ‘original aspiration’.”
Malevich’s Black Square embodies the creator’s understanding of “the zero of form”. This minimalist form heralded an unimaginable beginning of endless possibilities. We imagine space as a container composed of endlessly varying units of different natures; these units could be blocks on a CAD drawing, bricks in the hands of a construction worker, or even a growing plant, much like building blocks that hold infinite potential. In other words, the idea is about “using ‘blocks’ to contain the flow of matter and build our ideal space.” Then an abstract idea is rooted in something concrete.


弥生空间MARCH SPACE是一家设计机构，致力于有温度有节奏的叙事空间的构筑。 马列维奇的《黑方块》体现了创造者对“形式的零点”的理解，这个无比简约的形式奠定了一个令人难以想象的千变万化的开始。我们设想，空间是否可看作由不同性质的单元千变万化组合而成的容器？这些单元可以是CAD图纸上的块面、匠人手中的砖瓦、或生长中的一草一木，就像承载无限可能性的积木单元，“用‘方块’容纳物质流变，堆砌理想空间”。于是抽象的理念有了具象的立足点。LOGO图形框架由8*8正方形方阵来构筑，我们在框架内描出弥/生的字型，填充以象征实体的斜线与象征流体的弧线，错叠的线条会使图形产生耐人寻味的错视，虽然弱化了阅读性但强化了情感的连接。
